Project Overview

This project was part of the humanitarian initiative funded under KAAP-18 by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to provide dual-purpose infrastructure in disaster-prone coastal regions of Bangladesh. The school-cum-cyclone shelters were designed to function as educational institutions during normal times and serve as safe shelters for the community during cyclonic events. Each facility was constructed to international disaster resilience standards, ensuring structural safety, accessibility, and long-term community utility.
